fast shipping, item as advertised
used it for the first time yesterday, worked fine. Had to wrestle with it a bit the unit to get a charge, but it was the charging station that was the problem.

Essential tool for Tesla owner ![User picture]()
For trips away from home, I will be charging at either a Tesla Supercharger or a DC fast charger at a ChargePoint site or similar. Most everything else too slow for an in-trip charging stop. I charged at a 125kW CCS1 location soon after getting this adapter and it worked just fine. The site's CCS1 charger cable and plug was h-e-a-v-y !! but this CCS1-to-Tesla adapter clicked on firmly and easily remained well-seated in the MYLR for the entire session which ran at full speed, that is 62.5 kW for Tesla 400V battery system (-- only get 125kW if you have 800V system)

I tried to charge my Model 3 at a 350KW charging station, and the charging power can reach about 250-300kw, which should be according to the seller's description, and the CCS charging rate depends on the specification of the charging station.

The charging power of the EVBASE CCS charging adapter is 250KW, and you need to wait for 1 hour to fully charge it. As long as you do not leave the vehicle, it will not be stolen by others.

he CCS1 adapter is only used with Tesla vehicles. It is for Tesla Owner. It does not work with other EV vehicles because the charging socket does not match.
